Hi! I’m Amanda.
I was born WAAAAAAAYYYYY back in the early ‘90s. (Pre-Google. Man, I’m dating myself.)
But enough about my age.
I moved to Costa Rica part-time in November of 2023, and I am loving the country and its people!
I’m a blogger, travel enthusiast, author, EFL teacher, and more who loves life too much to be pinned down to one particular place for long. People tell me I have a bubbly, friendly personality, and I hope that comes through in my writing!

My professional interests include Spanish-English document translation, blogging, SEO optimization, teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL), freelance writing, copywriting, and anything to do with entrepreneurship.
On a personal note, my hobbies include art, writing, travel (hoping to hit Scotland in 2025!), and the occasional video game.
My dream is to travel the world, learning new languages and cultures, while earning a living from my blog, books, and my translation/interpretation business.
Update July 2024: I’m now in the process of earning my MBA in Project Management from the University of Phoenix!
Update December 2024: I’m sorry to announce that Sakari, my bouncy ball of bossy red Siberian Husky fluff, passed away at the age of 15 years. I miss her every day.
